Abstract :
Sensitivity analysis and optimization based on the combination of Pro/MECHANICA and ANSYS are applied to designing of the connecting rod of LJ276M electronic gasoline engine. The maximum stress of connecting rod on the largest compression condition is reduced by 4.9% after the optimization is applied, static intension safety coefficient is increased by 5.4% and mass of connecting rod is also reduced.
