  • Abstract
    A new type of high-power electronic device - gyroton on the corrugated resonator is described. In this device the spatial bunching of the electron beam does not occur; however, highly efficient conversion of electron beam power into the power of the rotating electromagnetic field is possible. The electron beam entering the device is linear; due to its initial deviation from the axis by the slowing TM11 wave, it then returns its longitudinal energy to the same wave with the efficiency of more than 88%.
