  • Abstract
This paper presents a design method of multiple input multiple output (MIMO) communication system using spatio-temporal processing with the reduced computational cost working under frequency selective fading (FSF) environment. Instead of conventional simultaneous design of all the weights in the system, weights in transmitter and receiver are divided into several groups, and the optimization is carried out group by group as a reduced scale problem. The grouping scheme gives us the flexibility of the design regarding both the performance and computational cost. The computer simulations are carried out to investigate the performance of the proposed method and to provide useful information for the actual design
