Abstract :
Multi-input PSS (P+ω+Q type PSS) using the three input signals (P, ω, Q) which it is more excellent than the conventional PSS is developed. In this paper, the design method of multi-input PSS which uses the high speed genetic algorithm (HSGA) is proposed. This method realizes the highly-efficient design of parameters of multi-input PSS. The high stability of the designed PSS is proven in the simulation that uses a three-machine seven-bus low-frequency oscillation power system model
