Abstract
In this paper, we study the impact of carrier phase jitter on the performance of an interleaved frequency division multiple access (IFDMA) system. With this aim, we compute the signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) degradation caused by the phase jitter at the input of the decision device. Furthermore, we compare IFDMA systems with MC-CDMA systems with respect to their sensitivity to carrier phase jitter by means of numerical results
