  • Abstract
The range of flame free-jet in jet firing system are studied by the liquid breakup principle. The analytic functions are built based on the view of that liquid break up the cooperative affects of the gravity, air resistance and tension. The main factors affecting are outlined. This paper sets up a empirical formula by the least-square method in accordance with the experimental date. Results show that the presure, elevation and diameter have significant influence about the range. Compared with experimental date, the formula is found to be exact and reliable.
