  • Abstract
The application of multimedia technology in the action-oriented instruction of volleyball courses can improve the quality of volleyball teaching. By analyzing the application of specific technology in specific action-oriented teaching methods, a more reasonable teaching model for the course of volleyball can be developed. The multimedia technologies applied in volleyball teaching include CAI courseware making, motion video analysis, audio synthesis and animation data processing, which can stimulate students´ interest and enhance teaching efficiency in their combination with the action-oriented instruction. The combination of multimedia technologies and the action-oriented instruction has a wide prospect of application in volleyball instruction, which is a highly practical course.
