  • Abstract
    The image restoration from a blurred image is an old problem. Richardson-Lucy (RL) algorithm is a deconvolution algorithm that can restore the original image quite well if the point-spread function (PSF) is known. However, it needs to know the PSF to apply this algorithm. In this research, by restricting our problem to motion-blurred line images, we propose a blind-deconvolution algorithm by estimating PSF using Differential Evolution. As the fitness value, we define a weighted sum of two kinds of error functions. Numerical examples will show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
