A Development Process of KMS Based on Systems Engineering Methodology

Based on the Hall three dimensions structure and knowledge management maturity model, a methodological framework on knowledge systems engineering was analyzed to guide the implementation of knowledge management project. With the theories and methods of project management, organizational management, knowledge management and systems engineering, the development process of knowledge management system was further analyzed and summarized. Finally, the development process of knowledge management system including eight key steps was established based on methodological framework and given a detailed analysis for each key step. The practice has shown this process could provide a clear theoretical basis and method for the research and development of knowledge management system.
