Design and Realization of Software Tool for Updates Propagation between GIS Databases

Aiming to the limitations of the existing GIS software, such as the lack of the corresponding function modules, no supports of the bulk processing, the requirements of many man-machine interactions, the inability to automatically and efficiently implement the updates propagation, a special tool for updates propagation is designed and realized based the component technology of ArcEngine. This tool can enhance the efficiency of updates propagation and overcome the limitations of the existing software, since the operations needed for updates propagation, such as schema matching, change extraction, updates integration, can be performed in the automated bulk mode.
