Abstract :
This work presents a transducer interface logic model based on IEEE 1451.7. The proposed architecture aims to acquire a transducer communication and data logic structure, according to control and automation systems guidelines and EPC standard to be used with RFID Technology. The information physically integrated to transducer through placing a electronic tag, makes easy the communication and accompaniment of control tasks, allowing verification and validation of devices according to specifications defined in the plant, which provides an analysis of the entire process based on historical data. The presented model aims to maintain compatibility with implemented software and hardware platforms that uses reconfigurable logic and consider some requirements, such as: flexibility, security, human-computer interaction, corporate systems integration and network capability. Besides this, this article also presents a new RFID system application environment, focused on Distributed Measurement and Control systems.
