Abstract :
Previous papers have described the principles of the bandwidth compression techniques that are used by the EUREKA MAC-compatible HDTV transmission system. In this paper, the author briefly mentions some parts of the signal processing needed to recover the HDTV signal which are peculiar to the receiver and then concentrate on the display format and the display devices that will be used for HD-MAC
