Abstract :
Silicon sensors capable of measuring the two in-plane components of magnetic field and the total magnetic field vector are presented. The devices are based on lateral magnetotransistor action and are designed as differential multicollector structures. The results show a linear response to magnetic field and suggest that the special design of the emitter can lead to an increased sensitivity
