Abstract :
Aviation safety is the base for the operation of air transportation system. It plays a significant role in maneuvering accidents quickly and efficiently. In this paper, the network of airport on the airside was analyzed from the aspect of aviation safety; then a nodes-arcs relation database was built to describe the airside network topology and the Dijkstra algorithm was employed to search the shortest path between the nodes. At last, MapX and a GIS re-developing tool were used to carry out the Emergency Rescue Information Management System development for a domestic large-scale airport under the Visual Basic environment. This system can provide supports for visual and convenient decision-making in airport emergency rescue events; and also expand MapX´s spatial analyzing ability to develop an applied GIS system.
