Abstract :
In view of variety and complexity of enterprise asset management system of coal preparation plant, the global analysis and design model is established. In addition, the modernized coal preparation plants are oriented towards interconnection and automation. It is of great necessity for the coal preparation plant to adopt the enterprise asset management. The enterprise asset management is a systematic process of planning, maintaining, upgrading, and operating physical assets cost-effectively and also an important part for the plant in organizing production. The developing of enterprise asset management system is potent activity to improve the competition of the coal preparation plant. This paper introduces a model of the enterprise asset management by means of an UML (Unified Modeling Language) methodology. In this methodology the processes are divided into two phases, and in each phase we give and discuss the essential concepts and modeling diagrams of the system such as use case diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram, class diagram and component diagram. The incorporation of UML into model analysis for enterprise asset management is considered and shown to be practicable.
