Abstract :
An optimization model for calculating water resources carrying capacity was established in this paper and it was used to analyze water resources carrying capacity of different level years in huaibei city. Research shows that water carrying capacity in huaibei city is low. In order to meet needs by sustainable social and economic development, a number of measures adopted are suggested as follows: to increase utilizable water resources through engineering measures, and develop new water supply sources, as well as improve water use efficiency depending on technology reformation.
