  • Abstract
    Vehicle population is in a period of rapid growth in China, while the problem of traffic safety is growing and road traffic deaths remain high. Traffic safety education is playing an important role in improving the awareness of road safety, prevention and reduction of road traffic injuries. Video and audio teaching materials are attractive and appealing to traffic safety learners and the contents are easy to convey. High degree of popularity and publicity makes them an ideal way of traffic safety education campaign. According to the form of expression, technical requirements, computer level of staff, hardware and software environment, functional requirements are analyzed and an easy-to-learn, user-oriented system for traffic safety education is designed and developed. With this system, users can improve the efficiency of the production of teaching materials and achieve data access and management, video and audio editing features for traffic safety education.
