Abstract :
This paper presents one electronic ballast for high power factor used to trigger and control the brightness of fluorescent lamps. The converter used has a single stage where the processing power factor correction stage of power and drive of the lamp are integrated. The integration aims to simplify the power converter and thus make it economically more attractive. The brightness control is provided by varying the duty cycle of drive the switches of the converter. Experimental results and computer simulation are presented at the end of this paper.
