The underwater service industry is facing a decade of opportunity and challenge. Greater operating depths, more sophisticated equipment, and specialized personnel requirements will require changes in operating methods and business management. A few large companies will dominate the business while a healthy market will continue for small entrepreneurs who offer services to specialized areas of the market.
