Abstract
This paper introduces a serialization algorithm from UML-based rule modelling language URML to a XML-based rule language R2ML. Both languages can be considered as an approach for a common standard, which combines the advantages of already available languages. Therefore it´s necessary to have an algorithm, which is capable of transforming rules modelled with URML into R2ML. Once the R2ML markup for a rule was created, it´ possible to exchange these data interoperable or apply a transformation into already existing rule description languages. The approach to archive this goal is presented in this paper.
