  • Abstract
In this paper, a novel fingerprinting architecture called NoFiA is proposed to protect relational data in database systems from illegal duplications and redistribution. NoFiA has three features: 1) It is able to embed different fingerprints according to the differences of users. 2) Through this architecture, the fingerprinting process doesn´t modify the original data. 3) It is easy to manage the parameters of fingerprinting. A prototype of this architecture has been realized. A lot of experiments have been made to validate the usability of NoFiA.
