Abstract :
Silicone-acrylic emulsion have broad prospects in earthen sites consolidation. In order to improve the length of penetration, the newly silicone-acrylic emulsion for earthen sites consolidation is studied based on improving silane contents, and direct shear test, resistance to water test and corrosion resistance test are done on the plain soil and sample consolidated by new silicone-acrylic emulsion. The results show the newly silicone-acrylic emulsion improved soil Shear resistance, and the Water-resistance and Corrosion Resistance have got larger improvement than silicone-acrylic emulsion, and penetration homogeneity has got improvement too.
