  • Abstract
Water conservation in arbor-shrub-hedge-gutter is a new method of controlling soil erosion and water conservation. A series of indoor experiments about the soil moisture movement of gutter on the condition of water conservation in arbor-shrub hedge-gutter were conducted. The experimental results indicated that that advancing distance of horizontal and vertical wetting front increase according with the infiltration time, the advancing speed of wetting front decrease while the infiltration time increases, and the relationship between the advancing distance of horizontal and vertical wetting front and the infiltration time appears obviously logarithmic relationship. The above results will offer reference for defining technical element of water conservation in arbor-shrub-hedge-gutter.
