Abstract
The author presents an overview of a dispatcher training simulator which is designed to provide a training capability that realistically models a power system and interacts with the user in the same way as the man/machine interface in the actual control room. The system will run on either the backup side of the dual (redundant) EMS computer system, or it can utilise dedicated hardware
