Abstract :
The paper mainly studies on the layout scheme of an ocean energy isolated power system. First, the requirements for the location selection are given. Based on those, on-site measurement is done to obtain the data of current and water depth. Simultaneously, a COHEREH-SED model is built to simulate the tidal current field, whose result is well in accordance with the measured data. Meantime, the paper proposes the concept of tidal current flux which is important for the location selection, and gives its distribution. At last, the paper presents the layout scheme of current energy converters as well as the central control room. The research result has a great meaning for the proceeding of further research of this project.
