Abstract :
It has been said that solid state MRI is a decade behind liquid state MRI. Liquid state imaging started in 1973. The first clinical trials were in the late 70´s and early 80´s. The current rush of solid state MRI papers began in 1984. Now, in the late 80´s one is beginning to see the first practical applications of solids imaging. The aim must be to make available for solid state NDE using MRI all that is currently possible for liquids, including the dynamical information. It should not take ten years
