Abstract
The authors focus on the nonlinear auxiliary fiber resonator as a termination with an effective reflectivity. They describe how this reflectivity changes as a function of the auxiliary cavity length, compare theoretical predictions with experimental results, and discuss the optimum cavity length adjustment for short pulse generation
