Abstract :
Built 3-D solid model of one diesel engine cylinder head with the Pro/E software and its finite element model with the ABQUS software, and discussed the boundary conditions, such as the thermal stress, bolts pre-load and displacement, analyzed its stress and deformation under thermal-mechanical coupling using the finite element method, and obtained some conclusions as the following: (1) the material can meet the strength need; (2) its deformation area is mainly in flame face surface and fuel injector coxcombing; (3) the deformation of flame face was general symmetrical broadways and slightly large near exhaust air duct longways; (4) the deformation of fuel injector coxcombing was general symmetrical.
