Abstract
The authors present a novel equilibrium feeding method for a half wavelength folded dipole in which one arm of the dipole is used as a portion of the feeder. The dipole, the balun, and the impedance matching section are incorporated into a single device, and advantages in balance conversion, impedance matching, and water-proofing are obtained. A practical feeder-dipole set which is used on a Yagi-Uda weather-radar array is shown.<>
