Abstract
The authors deal with optical implementation of crossbar switches and a Clos network, using reversible nonlinear interface (RNI) devices. The proposed building block for these implementations is a two-by-two optical switch box capable of performing four basic switching actions. The routing algorithms for the Clos network are discussed. Some applications for these networks are suggested
