  • Abstract
    A novel method is described whereby a discrete Fourier transform of length N is realised with correlators of length (N-1)/2 in a time of N-2 correlation cycles. Minimum additional circuitry is required to implement spectrum analysis. Typically, four 32-stage correlators can compute a 3500-point transform in less than 3 ms
