Abstract
A computational method based on differential transformation is proposed for optimal control of hybrid systems with a predefined switching sequence. Using differential transformation, the optimality conditions of hybrid systems are transformed into a system of nonlinear algebraic equations. The numerical optimal solution is computed in the form of a finite-term series of a chosen basis system. The performance of the proposed method is demonstrated through a numerical example. The error of the numerical solution is also discussed.
