Abstract :
This article discusses the definition and evaluation of midband gain for active filters with positive feedback and two widely separated poles. It is shown that two different definitions yield two different frequency responses. These responses differ by a factor of 0.04 db. The results of analytical expressions are checked with simulation. Agreement is excellent
