Abstract :
Frequency translation technique enables fully integrated reconfigurable multi-band multi-mode cellular receivers that use no external RF components. With this technique, low-Q baseband impedances are transferred to RF and become high-Q bandpass filters, whose centers are controlled by clock. As proof of the concept, a SAW-less fully integrated quad-band GPRS/EDGE receiver with no external matching components is presented.
