  • Abstract
    Describes a help system built using POP-11 in the POPLOG environment, to assist in the development of knowledge-based models in ACSL (Advanced Continuous Simulation Language). Interactive means of model entry are described. Two sorts of knowledge are generated; general simulation knowledge, and deep knowledge about how ACSL is to perform its functions. The inference engine uses forward and backward chaining. The overall structure of the system is described
