Abstract :
Ohba NHPP models are wide used to discuss the software reliability. Xie Min presented a new three-parameters NHPP model about upgrade version. We modify the model, present the necessary & sufficient conditions for the likelihood estimates to be finite, positive, and unique. Results are given for ungrouped failure data, and apply these results to original Ohba model easily.
