  • Abstract
This paper constructed the ecosystem comprehensive evaluation index system framework using driving force-pressure-state-impact-response (DPSIR) conceptual model. The evaluation model is established using modified G1 model to determine the index weights. Also, the paper makes empirical analysis on ecosystem of China during 2001 to 2007.The contribution characteristics are as follow. Firstly, the paper constructed index system using DPSIR conceptual framework, and bring human demand, economic development and social progress into the system. It is much better than the existing research which only considered the status of environment and resources or the status of environmental protection and pollution treatment. Secondly, the paper introduced the interval number and osculation value to traditional G1 method. This solved the problem of how to fix the G1 weights in the condition of incomplete information. Thirdly, the result reflects that the major factors that affect the ecological condition are the per capita water resource, the forest coverage rate, the per capita green area, industrial and mining sector wastewater burden per unit water resource and population growth rate. But the proportion of sanding, house refuse safe disposal rate and the economic losses caused directly from pollution have less effect.
