Abstract :
XML has become a messaging standard for a wide range of applications including those running on ad-hoc wireless networks such as sensor networks. This paper presents an efficient publish-subscribe system for ad-hoc networks. XML messages are selectively disseminated at near constant rate and then routed to destinations using our proposed geometric routing algorithm which probes for optimal paths. Experiments show that our combined message dissemination and routing system is indeed efficient and scalable
