Abstract :
Adoption is advocated of a spectral center of gravity approach for Doppler determination, and a simple filter implementation that appears to have received little prior attention is explored. The core of this implementation, which can track Doppler on a block processing basis, is an FIR `square-root´ filter. Tradeoffs involved in this filter´s design are quantified, and performance of a real-time audio-band realization is related
