Abstract :
A sample-and-hold semisystolic analog realization for 2-D infinite impulse response (IIR) filters utilizing only analog components (analog multipliers, etc.) is presented. This form of realization is capable of handling the high data rate that would be required by such an application as high-definition television (HDTV) (~1050×1400 pixels/frame).
