Abstract :
In this paper, the authors research on the scheduling and control co-design of networked control systems (NCSs) to enhance the performance of control systems. Optimization of sampling period is the basic way in co-design of scheduling and control. During the study, the sampling periods of networked control systems with multiple control loops have been scheduled by rate monotonic (RM) algorithm to optimize the integrated performance. Furthermore, real-time simulation has been made with simulation software packet Truetime based on Matlab/Simulink. The results show that the co-design not only enhances the performance of networked control systems, but also improves the network efficiency.
