Abstract :
The article describes importance of vocational education and training (VET) which can play a central role in preparing young people for work, developing the skills of adults and responding to the labour market needs of the economy. The aim of this article is to highlight the definitions and understandings of vocational education and training (VET). Countries are now giving the long-neglected topic of vocational education and training dramatically increased profiles, reflecting a recognition of its economic function.
