  • Abstract
TCP Veno was recently proposed to eliminate TCP performance suffering in the wireless networks. Real network and live Internet measurements have validated Veno´s significant performance improvement over Reno. In this paper, we revisit Veno´s state distinguishing scheme, and give a detailed study of Veno´s performance when three different recovery schemes: Partial ACK, SACK and PACK, are incorporated. Our network simulation and real testbed results show that Veno´s state distinguishing scheme can make recovery phase more efficient
