Abstract :
This article presents a brief method to solve a practical problem in today´s fuel cell hybrid vehicle (FCHV) design, how to judge if a new fuel cell engine (FCE) can adapt to the rest parts of an existing power train system. The method bases on the steady state model, which is very suitable to analyze the system as a whole from aspect of power. According to our control strategy, a match equation can be deduced, whose boundary conditions can be obtained from the parameters of the rest parts of power train system. With the help of polarization curve of FCE, the output character curve of DC-DC converter can be drawn to build a match curve, through which the match equation can be solved. Furthermore, a practical explanation for the solution is given.
