Abstract
Optimum autopilot designs are presented for bank-to-turn CLOS (BTT) guidance. BTT is capable of producing higher lift-to-drag ratio. A linear quadratic optimal technique is used for the design of the roll and pitch autopilot. Simulation results have demonstrated the improvements in control with the linear quadratic optimal design
