VSATs-the user driven system

DCC Limited, as part of the Hughes Aircraft Company, is closely linked with one of the major US suppliers of VSAT systems, Hughes network Systems (HNS). An important contribution to their success is the matching of technological developments to customer needs. Nearly all applications involve a central location communicating with a large number of remote terminals, where the users of the remote terminals need to access information on a central database and the company´s management needs to interrogate the remote sites to extract data.
