Abstract
In-Vehicle Navigation System is becoming more and more popular. Its demand is increasing dramatically every year. This paper proposes a multi-modal scheme of hardware and software design considering ergonomic issues. Then, a field test was carried out to validate its usability and friendly interface. Some interfaces problems are discovered. Finally, some solutions are proposed to solve these problems. After improving and enhancement, the system meets the users´ demands.
