Abstract :
Four different classes of adaptive signal cancelers can be used to eliminate narrowband interference, from a broadband signal. The adaptive algorithm for these filters has been proposed by Kwan and Martin (1989) and modified by Petraglia, Mitra and Szczupak. The authors propose a modification of the structure to improve the adaptation and simplify the hardware. The new structure is applied to narrowband biphase shift-key (BPSK) interference in broadband BPSK signals with and without background noise
