Abstract :
The author describes the possibility to achieve an ultrahigh density recording with 1 trillion bits/inch/sup 2/ and over 5 Mb/s high speed readout using a nano-indentation type AFM based storage, and to achieve a nano-tracking using an inner-divided tracking method.
