Abstract :
Presents an interactive behavioural synthesis system called SAGE which is being developed as part of the Silicon Architectures Research Initiative (SARI) project. Unlike other synthesis tools SAGE places great emphasis on the importance of the designer in the overall design flow. An overview of the capabilities provided by the first release version of the tool and some of the new features currently being developed are presented
